In my battles on the forums I was introduced to a book the deliberate dumbing down of america. The Author Charlotte Iserbyt is the consummate whistleblower! Iserbyt served as Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education, during the first Reagan Administration.
Why do I bring up a book on the educational system? Because it goes to show the goals of the Progressive/socialist movement and the goals of the entire smoking movement and the collectivist/groupthink mentality behind it. to quote an avid Socialist and co-founder of the ACLU Norman Thomas;
The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened.”
The entire anti-smoking movement is groupthink and propaganda driven. Even the slightest dissension is grounds for expulsion from the group. You will never see them publicly debate or even respond to the dissenters just more groupthink propaganda. No open and honest discussions about the merits of the so called science. Hell even smoke free Wisconsin’s blog is censored to the point that there are zero comments . . . none . . . nada.
That a “new age of collectivism” has emerged and is being implemented right now under our very noses in the The Noxious Nineties”, with little or no outrage from the public or our elected officials, can only be attributed to the “deliberate dumbing down” of Americans, who haven’t been taught the difference between free enterprise and planned economies (socialism); between “group thinking” and individual freedom and responsibility. The mere fact that places like California are pushing for outdoor bans are proof positive that this is not a health issue but a further attempt to force us all into that groupthink mold and indoctrinate us for the New World order. Under the free enterprise system most businesses have already gone non-smoking so those of us who believe in individual freedom and responsibility logically see that if you object to Second Hand Smoke don’t patronize or work at a business that allows it. You have far more options then the smoker.
