For those unfamiliar with the origin of that poem written by Pastor Martin Nemoller it can be found here. But it reminds me of a piece written by Rabbi Lapin entitled “Hitler Writes From the Grave” and how true it is. From Rabbi Lapin’s piece.

Why do I bring this up? So often we who fight for liberty and freedom are called Nazi’s with absolutely no proof, if the label is used often enough it will stick, maybe. It is they who embrace all of the tennants and tactics of the national socialists, right down to the T.
Hitler used pseudoscience called “passive smoking” and “eugenics” to demonize those he opposed. Dave Hitt rightly attributed the term “passive smoking to the Nazi’s. “The phrase “passive smoking” was coined by Fritz Lickint in his book “Tobacco and the Organism,” which he produced for the German AntiTobacco League. With no evidence to back him up, he claimed that smokers were poisoning everyone around them. (He also insisted that coffee caused cancer.) Passive smoking is, of course, the primary battle cry of today’s nannies. “
And how many times have they played the label game calling us “addicts” to demoralize and dehuminize us. It is not just on topix like the words of “Just Candid” who said “It’s really a shame that not only are smokers addicts, but they have to live day in and day out with that social stigma” But also anti-smoking groups use op-eds with similar comments. And like Hitler, these modern day progressives use pseudoscience like Meta-analysis and this one has the same foul smell of eugenics.
So yes labels are very much a tactic by the enemies of freedom and are actually taught by tobacco control as pointed out by Dr Michael Siegel..
Now they are calling on using the same tactics to fight obesity.

Even the left leaning ACLU sees this as a disturbing trend.
Now to why your poem and Rabbi Lapin’s piece are so relevant is the tactics are being waged against all of us in the freedom movement as we see the erosion of freedom day by day. Again us TEA Partiers are called “Nazi’s”, disgusting sexual references like “teabaggers” While they engage in faux outrage over Rush’s use of the word slur on the air while they use every vulgarity known to man against those fighting for freedom and to them that is perfectly “Politically Correct” Wisconsin talk show host Vicki McKenna put this fact graphically.

But you are all too familiar with their tactics having one troll pretend to be your dead father and another expose your identity in order to intimidate you. Here are “Big Tex’s” words.

The Attorney General has called for the same “Brainwashing” propaganda techniques used for the smoking bans to further gun control.
But that was not moving fast enough for Mr Holder so he had to create a crisis, this crisis was called “Operation Fast and Furious”. In this operation he ordered gun dealers to sell to Mexican drug lords in hopes that the violence created would create a public outcry for more control. Speaking of violence, yes my friend they are even attempting to stir up the tensions between the races. They constantly try to depict freedom lovers as racist without a shred of proof with yes more fake propaganda.
All the while they are intentionally trying to start a race war using the George Zimmerman case.
Of course like the President, Zimmerman is only half white, I guess if you are involved in a crime it must be the white half. Of course what would they gain by this, (unless you believe in “Helter Skelter” as fellow leftist Manson) the only thing that a reasonable person could conclude is that the civil unrest would result in an outcry of a clampdown of even more civil liberties. But of course if it is a black liberty minded individual you can hurl all the racial eppitaths you want as pointed out by Vicki Mckenna.

Speaking of civil liberties we now have our own version of the Gestapo, yes and like it’s predecessor it is in charge of, you guessed it “Homeland Security”, and that’s exactly what they named it. Like it’s predecessor it’s job is to spy on citizens to ferret out dissidents. They have even issued warnings about us freedom loving constitution reading people. They are now working on a bill called the “expatriation act”.
If this bill passes it is only a matter of time before we see those camps with warm and fuzzy sayings like Work Will Set You Free” at the entrance.
It’s not that there were not warning signs, when you were a small child there were those who rang the warning bell even through cartoons.
Now we all know about the Hitler youth and the indoctrination. Here are a couple of his quotes.

Of course the main issue with smoking bans is the stripping of property rights. (You supplied me with the legal briefs for this piece.)Tobacco is a legal product and bans deny the owner of a business the right to use a legal product on their own property or allow their guests to do the same. Property rights were one of the founding principles of this country and a god given right. We see this erosion of property rights across the board including money. Money property you ask? A person works hard to create wealth but in today’s society the harder you work the more you are punished through the modern progressive income tax.. But it doesn’t end there what amount you are allowed to keep has many restrictions put on it. You can’t give it to others in order to help them create their own wealth, at least not without giving your master his cut through the gift tax. Don’t believe me? Here it is in the government’s own words.. And of course when you die they want a piece of the action. They are even working on eliminating cash in order to monitor your transactions. NO you say? Again from the government.
Of course those pushing for this socialistic utopia claim to be modern day “Robin Hood’s” ignoring the fact that the real Robin stole from those who obtained their wealth through the theft of taxation. Free markets and free people create wealth, not governments as Milton Friedman clearly told Donahue.
And of course this loss of freedom was predicted by Ayn Rand over 50 years ago.
People need to relearn the principles our country was founded on.
So yes my friend you have finally found peace and freedom in the afterlife, pray for those you have left behind. It is not like there were no warning bells, there was this cartoon that was made when you were a child but nobody listened. So again, pray for us.
